Hello. My name is Abebi and I am learning Spanish and Sign Language. I have completed one and one-half semesters of Spanish 1, but need some help actually learning the work. I can memorize some things, but holding a conversation with someone need more than memorization. I would like to get a tutor for all areas of the language, especially grammar and conversation. I would spend as much time with it as my tutor and I were able. I would work very hard and try to make my tutor proud.
In Sign Language I am still only a beginner, though I have been toying with it for years now. My mother is trying to become a certified interperator, so I would be able to practice a lot and would like to spend as much time with my teacher as possible. I would need to cover all areas of this language and would try to make my teacher in this language proud as well.
I need someone who is patient and can explain things very well and answer why questions sometimes.

I am a beginner who grew up with a deaf brother and I will like to learn Sign language so I can communicate officially with people with hearing difficulties at work and other settings. Any assistance provided will be valued and more importantly, passed on to others with a similar need in the future. I am finishing my third semester in American Sign Language. I will have compeleted the second level in Signing Naturally. I am wanting to continue learning ASL so that I can meet, work with, and have Deaf friends. I would especially like to improve in converstaion in ASL. I would like to spend a few hours a week on lessons. Someone who is Deaf, yet patient with a hearing student would be preferred. I am wanting to learn during January and over the summer while I am at home.
