My proficiency level is beginners. I want to be able to excel to the advanced level and speak Spanish fluently. I am learning Spanish because it would enhance my networking with the goal I am trying to achieve. Spanish has always been a passion. I need more help in every area. I know some of every area of Spanish (e.g. grammar, conversation) , but I want to learn it fluently. I want to dedicate at least 2 hours every day except Saturday and Sundays in the summer. I am looking for a teacher who is very experienced in Spanish and speak it in conversationa l settings to enhance my understanding . I am also looking for a teacher who builds upon creativity to propel a student such as myself to strive for excellence.

I am a recent university graduate from a US university, where I took Kiswahili with a Tanzanian professor for 1 1/2 years. We did a lot of literature reading and translation, so I feel pretty comfortable reading and writing basic things but my conversation abilities are very lacking, as we did not do a lot of talking. Grammar also needs help, as I forget a lot of it now that I am no longer in school.
I hope to work in East Africa in a year or two, and thus hope to keep up (and greatly improve) my proficiency in the language.
I am willing to dedicate much time and energy to language lessons, however as I am a recent graduate just starting work and trying to pay off school loans, I would prefer a group class if possible so that it could be more affordable.
