I'm a beginning-lev el Urdu student looking for a tutor who will help me reach business-conv ersation speaking level and newspaper reading level.
I grew up speaking Urdu, but my current speaking level is very basic. I have trouble with sentence construction, word choice, and masculine/fem inine noun-verb agreement.
I can read pehli- and dusri-jamaat books without any trouble. At teesri-jamaat reading level, I can move quickly but I won't know some of the vocabulary. At chothi-jamaat , I have to stop frequently because I won't recognize words. Beyond that, there are so many words I don't recognize that the text becomes unreadable.
I'm looking to eventually reach an academic level. I know it will take years, but in terms of basic learning, it means I want a very formal instruction. I grew up learning Spanish, and I appreciated teachers who explained grammar rules, exceptions to rules, and conventions.
