John Stewart Priest is an excellent teacher. After my first lesson with John, I could tell that I was dealing with a true scholar, a masterful linguist. As a student of philosophy trained to ask probing questions, I certainly put him to the test. I sought the structure, the meaning, the historical context, the essence of the language. He answered every question in thorough detail. His presentation was patient, clear and precise, accessible even to the neophyte yet enough to satisfy the seasoned scholar.
