Description

I am a complete beginner and, having retired as an English lawyer to live permanently in Romania, I wish to learn conversationa l Romanian in a manner in which I can be understood even if, initially, my pronunciation and grammar are not completely perfect. I find Romanian very difficult to assimilate as, to me, it is spoken so quickly and, although I may be able to 'pick up' the occasional word, I cannot currently put it into context to establish whatever is being said to me. Maybe two lessons per week (with time to study between them) would be a good starting-poin t and I would hope that my teacher would follow a logical and structured lesson plan that would enable me to achieve specific goals - within the capabilities of my ageing grey-matter!
