Hello, how are you?

I am Canadian

I am planning to go in January 2014 in India, Kerala.

I want to understand my friend who lives there.
be able to understand, and if possible talk to him.
I have a fairly large facility in foreign languages.
It appears to me difficult to learn Malayalam
I already know Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, english and my mother toungue is french from Québec, but it will be the first time a language of India.

I would like this either directly with an Indian from Kerala, someone who knows the customs of the region.

We intend to make a pilgrimage to India for 6 months if it's God will

I would like my classes are on skype and 1/week (1hr) focused on the conversation, but also be able to read little the signs so I could find in the villages where English is less present.
