Greens...southern style
1LB Greens (collard,mustard,turnip,or cabbage...or maybe even kale) 1LB Bacon or other smoked meat Salt to taste Whole Jalepeno or Cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper (optional) Goya Ham Seasoning(optional) 4 cups water
Boil Meat for an hour to extract flavor. Remove meat from water, set aside. add greens to water and cook over low heat until tender (about an hour). Chop up about 1/2 cup of boiled meat and add to greens. Enjoy!!! (Scrumptious served with Cornbread)
