Vocabulary:
Estuche: little box ( jewel box) for keep souvenirs, candies, rings, paper, love notes. Generally is covered with a soft material. Can be made of wood, metal, with beautiful stones .
Aterciopelados: This is the name of this musical colombian group.
Covered or made of “terciopelo” It is a material soft, with short and soft hair, that move when you put the hand on. It is used for cover // tapizar // traditional classic furniture .
The song “El Estuche” has been promoted // they use to put it on tv // at MTV and it refers that the people has value by our own interior and not for that is to the sight, that everybody can see. The persistence of all women to being too thin and very beauty is a lay //mentira// that tv has sold to us, because beautifulness is much more.
Aterciopelados is maybe, the only one Colombian group that had been // premiado /-recibir un premio // and have not thought about going to live abroad.
For them, is very nice “superrico” // very rich // if you can live from the music, receive money for something that you like to do.
They had create your own // disquera –empresa para grabar, hacer discos// disc company , named “Entre Casa” in order to support (to help) to another group that are beginning

Me agrada contactarte desde Venezuela. Tengo algunas canciones pero pasadas de moda.Puedes consultar un lindo sitio que se llama tu-refugio.com donde oirás y puedes leer la letra de canciones en español..Me gustaría que me envíes notas acerca de eventos musicales para practicar mi inglés. Te paso una "ranchera" canción típica mexicana para que te diviertas con tus amigos( Sé que no es de moda, sólo que es fácil y muy conocida: Allá en el rancho grande, allá donde vivía, había una rancherita, que alegre me decía (bis) te voy a hacer los calzones, como los usa el ranchero, te los comienzo delana, te los termino de cuero. // Coméntame si visitas el sitio y si puedo explicarte el significado de alguna canción que te agrade.
