Italian And Spanish Speakers!
Hi, I am a 16 year old english girl. I speak French and Italian well but I am thinking about starting to learn Spanish at college next year. I'm wondering if this is a good idea and whether I might get my languages confused! Multiple language speakers: please reply and let me know what you think!!!! :) fiona

I have noted a certain silence and I don’t know if I am the guilty. I feel confused in the order to following because there are different levels of knowledge and I would like to have a logical sequence.
At the beginning everybody writes “The place where I live” which is very appropriate to measure the ability to use the words in Spanish even are new. I would like to following describing One day in the life of John with the activities you do in present time or ing form. I am going to repeat this message on the Bulletin Board for you do a similar one.
Later we can describe things, peoples and places.
Then we can write about situations, simulates or not, like visiting the doctor, fixing the car, Visiting friends, Looking for a job or an apartment…
In the meantime, who can do it, will comment some News, specially the BBC News which are bilingual or the more advanced can read the News at the site englishclub point c then o then m. It is good the songs you can find in mi_refugio.com because nothing like music for learning without effort. I recommend the Armando Manzanero’s song “Contigo Aprendí” even is in Past Tense the words are easy and the meaning is nice.
If you are Gold member you can do the exercise and send to the two: to my e-mail and to the B Board. Don’t be afraid if is not perfect. If one is worry about these situations never can learn nothing.
Well lets go to work!

I want give you my 4 skills for helping you to improve your Spanish. Please fell free to tell me if you don’t understand and then I will write in English the complete text.
El lunes apareciste y te pedí chatear por Yahoo, donde estoy como firmo este texto, pero no fue posible.
Vamos a lo que te interesa, realmente: ¿Cómo vas a practicar el Español?
Yo no quiero ser una Transcriptora de aburridas lecciones por Computadora, sino una orientación para entender español tomado de la vida real y con las historias que puedan ser lecciones.
TELEVISION:
Sería conveniente si ves una Novela en español en canal Caracol, o el Azteca. Te recomiendo El Clon, brasileña, con costumbres de musulmanes y occidentales.
De esta manera tienes dialogos reales, con diferentes acentos.
También son buenas las Comiquitas. Me gusta una de España que se llama “South Park” y acá la transmiten por Locomotion.
También es buena “Dexter y su laboratorio”
MUSICA:
Hay un sitio llamado “tu-refugio.com” con letras de canciones.
Si alguna te gusta te explico su significado.
Canciones fáciles son las del cantautor (cantante y autor) mexicano Armando Manzanero, romántico cien por ciento:

Es interesante Ricardo Arjona, de Guatemala; las letras de sus canciones son críticas a la hipocresia en el mundo y el vocabulario es avanzado.

Debo insistir con las Noticias en españoltengo días viendo CNN Busca CNN en español o Caracol, o Azteca o la televisión española (tve) y oye..la entonación, las entrevistas...son muy buenas
INMERSION TOTAL:
Ese es un Sistema de Aprendizaje, uno de los más costosos, que consiste en que todo lo que hagas, lo pienses y trates de expresar en Español.
Puedes hacer tus cosas del hogar pensando en español. Ejemplo: Si tu acompañas a tu hijo a la cama, puedes pensar:
Voy a acompañar a John a dormir, casi son las 10 de la noche, él no quiere dormir...etc
Luego que el niño esté dormido tú escribes todo lo que acabas de hacer y algunas cosas no sabrás expresar... lo dejas en blanco y allí ...aparece Marvila, la Mujer Maravilla ( Wonderfull Woman, just I am)quien te explicará lo que no sabes.
