Hi, I am currently in Nanjing at the Southeast University (Biological Science & Medical Engineering lab) for two months. Would you be interested in a language exchange? Just show by the lab.

Re:The use of technology in learning foreign languages
Hi Dorian,

I agree with you, or more precisely I hope that this is really effective. Though, I answer to your message, I am not probably the person that suits you, as I can only help you with French and Spanish. But, feel free to contact me, if you don't mind writing or speaking in English. That would help me a lot, as I want to have as many opportunities as possible to practise English.

Well, hope to receive an answer... Cheers

Re:Computers, T.V's?
At Sac State University, we have TV's with VCR's in some classrooms, but they can be moved around where they're needed by teachers who want to show VHS tapes.

That sounds kind of low-tech for a university, and it is. But we do also have special designated "smart classrooms" with built-in AV systems. There, teachers can have programming being played by the library media services center shown in the classroom on a screen, or they can plug a laptop computer into the system and show the class computer screen demonstrations, such as a power point slide show.

We also have quite a few computer classrooms, with a computer station at every desk, and we have classrooms set up for television broadcasting so that specified college courses can be broadcast on TV. They are equpped with TV cameras and microphones for the teacher and each student desk.
