Re:Need help: Australian Slang
hey, my name is Dan and i'm Australian. i'll teach you some slang that people would use from around the ages of 13-40.

g'day mean hello, it's slang for good day which also means hello.

mate. a mate is slang for "friend"

g'day mate. this means hello friend.

we would also use the words, dude and man which are used instead of friend, (doesn't matter if it's a girl).

loo or dunny means toilet.

in stead of saying going to, u would say "gonna" for e.g i'm gonna go to the loo (I am going to go to the toilet)

a "shiela" and "bloke" are Australian slang for girl and guy.

i would to someone "easy shiela" as a joke meaning, calm down, its alright for example.

one more would be "bob's ur uncle" not literally bob is your uncle but it means like that's it, pretty straight forward meaning, for example. " you turn the knob and bob's your uncle, it's on".

i hope i helped you in some way,

i know quite alot more austrlian slang, but its not as common to say as tennages and in the 20's. if you neeed some more or in specific areas of slang, please reply,

cya :) oh that means good bye, and so does laters.
