I've found that a good way to practice is by using voice and webcam chat. There is a website called Nos Ayudamos that has that and you can talk with Spanish native speakers from all around the world who are learning English.

I would like to exchange emails in your native and English. I am particularly interested in Spanish dialects from Mexico since it is so close. I am 56, married with 5 children. I ride bicycle rallies, backpack, play the drum and guitar. My Spanish is not very good. Once we are friends perhaps we can speak over the internet using Skype or something.
