I would like to talk or chat to somone in Japanese.
I speak english but would like to learn some coversational Japanese before I move there at the end of August 2007. I only know a few phrases, a little grammar, and most of the hiragana characters so far. But I think if I could chat or speak with someone it would help a lot. Email me to set up a chat or see if I'm availabe now. I have iChat as well for audio/video chats.
The real question I need to know is how to ask a father for his blessing in marrying his daughter. If I can ask that and know what possibly is a good response to that which he might say it would help alot.

Looking for Spanish speaker from Mexico who wants to practise English (I live in England)
Hello, I'm new here and would like to practise my Spanish with somebody from Mexico who wants to practise their English. I'm interested in the culture of Mexico and hope you are interested in the culture of England. I'm not a gold member so you'll need to contact me first. I'm 46, married, and live with my husband and my cat in the south of England. I work in London. My Spanish is not very good (yet), but here goes!

I am from Australia, and wish to learn to write and speak Mandarin in return for helping with your English writing and speaking skills.
I have no knowledge of Mandarin as yet, so am starting from the beginning.
