ich glaube, dass die übliche Redewendung auf deutsch „ist »Zahl« Jahre alt“ (ähnlich wie im Englischen) ist—z. B. „Meine Hündin ist zehn Jahre alt.“

My pet
I live in Duisburg, Germany. I have a cat named Kira. She is 11 years old and her fur is all black. I like dogs, too, but I don't have a dog. But I regularly take a friend's dog for a walk. Gina is an old yorkshire terrier; will be 16 in November.
