Bonjour, j'aimerais apprendre le francais pour mon job actuel. I know a bit of english, I learned it in school at a 'pro' level and maintained it at a 'not so bad' level. I like movies, music, the outdoors....and of course computers.

Learning a language is the key to understanding a culture and its people. I enjoy traveling, photography, making new friends and exploring fresh perspectives and ideas. Also like reading books, playing tennis, watching foreign films, appreciating art and other cultures. Hello! I'm a Romanian high-school girl living in Transylvania. I know English, a bit of French and some Latin.
I'd like an email correspondence with a native English speaker (preferably American) around my age (I'm 17).
I'm also learning Russian because it's simply the best language on Earth. I'm interested in Russian history and culture, so anyone from Russia is welcome.

Ich lerne selbständig und andauernd Deutsch seit etwa über 2 Jahren und muss gestehen, dass ich es tatsächlich liebe. Für mich erwies es sich als die interessanteste und eine der reichsten Sprachen zu sein, worauf ich bislang gestossen habe. Auf Deutsch vorgelesene Gedichte hören sich wunderschön an, und die in dieser Sprache verfasste Literatur stellt ein Vergnügen zum Lesen dar. Ausserdem finde ich, dass die germanischen Sprachen, obwohl sich mehrerer Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten freuen können, viel leichter von mir angeeignet und beherrscht werden können.
