I have various business and professional interests in Russia and I just love Russian language and culture. I would love to be able to practise it frequently.

My core interest lies in decision theory: how and why we make decisions, what biases we have and how to use this knowledge to make the best decision in a variety of fields. This has led me to an increased focus on neuroplasticity: how learning new behaviors/patterns of thinking is related to changes in the brain. I continually look to learn new skills and attaining fluency in a new language is a natural next challenge.
My interest in Russian is rooted in its rich literary heritage. I have read work by Dostoyevsky in English, and the tension between the individual and the State explored by a number of Russian writers is fascinating to me.
