I am a rock music fanatic, I play guitar and I also am learning Finnish, which I've been doing for nearly two years. I run a lot as well. I do not often get an opportunity to practise Finnish and therefore would like to do that. I decided to learn Finnish because I'd already taken an interest in Finland. I'd like to gain more knowledge of French, although I can't claim I'm even a beginner.

I'm from the UK but I can see myself staying in Korea for a few more years. I hope this website will be a great way to make friends and learn Korean. I'm studying an MA in Education and Technology with a focus on language learning. It's improtant to me that I still make time to improve my Korean. I also really enjoy music! I play guitar in a band in Daegu with other awesome musicians. It's hard to find amongst all the K-pop but Daegu has a vibrant independent music scene, you should all check it out! ^^

My interests include wildlife, photography,writing cynghannedd and history (I haven't written that yet, not to my knowledge anyway!).I'm a fluent Welsh speaker, very patient with plenty of time to spare. I'd like to visit Italy one day, and it sounds a fairly easy language for a Welsh speaker. The other Celtic languages make my heart beat faster, but I'd be learning from the begining. I've recently left university for several reasons, however I definitely still wish to further my languages, by talking to French, Spanish and German people regularly. Other than languages, my interests include playing badminton, playing video games, going to the cinema/watching films and seeing friends.
