Thankyou Antonio. In New Zealand it isn't necessary to say the word "coffee" when ordering in a cafe. It is sufficient to ask for a long black, a short black, an espresso, a latte or cappuccino.
Instead of "vorrei un caffè lungo", in English we say "Order a long black"

Instead of "vorrei un caffè lungo", in English we say "order an expresso/order a cappucino/"
