Technically, a troglodyte is someone who lives in a cave. Personally, I think calling someone a troglodyte, or luddite is much more effective than using words like **** and **** and of course *****! Why? Because they're overused and that makes them have less impact. Not to mention, calling someone a troglodyte won't get you beeped out on TV, and the radio! If the person doesn't know what it means and really wronged you, well, perhaps they're also a dullard.
