Hello

The meaning of Vc is the value of stamps.

They use the following:

vc = very common
c = common
* = not so common
** = uncommon
*** = very uncommon
R = rare
RR = very rare
RRR = extremely rare

Hi Lune!

First of all, yes, it is a Portuguese word!

People here in Brazil (and maybe in other Portuguese speaking countries, who knows) usually abbreviate words in internet, just like it happens to many other languages. So when people write e-mails and mainly in chats, they use many of these abbreviations, and "vc" or "vcs" is the most common, I think. It also makes the text/msg more informal. So it here it goes:

"vc" is the abbreviation for "você", which means "you", and "vcs" is plural (vocês), ok?

It's really simple but it's normal and even good that you ask that! It's certainly not found in a dictionary! =)

So, I hope it's cleared now! If you have any other question about the language, just ask it! =)

Tchau!
Eline
