Help me say I love you in Afrikaans
I'd love for someone to tell me how to say "I Love You" in Afrikaans. I would appreciate it if you could write it correctly in Afrikaans and then write it out as it is pronouced... because I can't seem to find a voice partner to help me with that. Thanks for your help!!!

Here is the translation.
I do not speak Afrikaans but I know that «I love you» in Afrikaans is «Ek het jou lief». I don't know the pronounciation, sorry. Wishing that the message will help you.

Re:Help me say I love you in Afrikaans
Yes, you say ek het jou lief, pronounced egg hai-t (het sounds like english hair, but without the r) yo (like yo baby US style)leaf..so that's ek - egg het- hai-t jou- yo lief-leaf
good Luck!

Re:Help me say I love you in Afrikaans
There are more than one way to say "I love you" in Afrikaans.
There's " Ek het jou lief " (said ek het yo leaf) You can also say " Ek is lief vir jou" or just "lief vir jou" which is literally "I have love for you" (said ek us leaf fur yo")
Like, for example, if you were saying good night to your mom, you would say "Goeie nag, Ma. Ek is lief vir jou, lekker slaap." (Good night mom, i love you, sleep well) but if you were talkjng tk your mom you would probably just say "lief vir jou" because it is more imformal
