How to say 'Help me learn Japanese' in Japanese
Hi, I am trying to find someone to help me learn Japanese, and in return I will help with learning English (I am a native speaker).
Is '私は日本語を習うことが手伝いませんか.' correct?

Thank you!

Re:How to say 'Help me learn Japanese' in Japanese
'私が日本語を習うことを手伝ってください。' is direct translation. But it is not so natural Japanese.

Variation is below:

'日本語を習う事を手伝ってください。'
Japanese often ommit subject in sentence, if it is obvious. In this case the person who learn Japanese is obvious, so '私' can be omitted in the sentence.

'日本語を学ぶ事を手伝ってください。'
'習う' has a image that someone teach you. '学ぶ' has a image that you proactively learn or practice.

'日本語を学ぶ事を手伝ってくれませんか?'
'くれませんか' can be translated 'Could you (do something)'.
This expression gives the feeling 'politeness'.

I hope my comment help you to learn Japanese.
