"Spanglish"
I'm doing a project for my Spanish Dialectology class and need to find eight Spanish-speakers who reside in the US to answer the following questions:

¿Qué es el Spanglish?

¿Usa usted Spanglish?

¿Qué opinión tiene sobre el Spanglish?

The responses can be in either Spanish or English, as short as one sentence (or as long as they'd like to answer!). Names will not be used in any way--the information will just be used for this term paper.

iGracias a todos!

Re:Spanglish
Hi Christina
I'm a native English speaker but married a spanish only speaker. The "spanglish" you mentioned is very well used and alive in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. It's a combination of both languages, for example...Darme un ride or Mi trucka tienen un pinchado (Give me a ride, or My truck has a flat tire). Since the language evolves is brings pieces of each language together and keeps evolving.
Hope that helps. If you need more info, let me know.
