Why is it so difficult to find language partners?
I've joined several language exchange sites and all I get are people that aren't speaking the language I want to learn. I don't mind helping to improve someones English. Actually, I love teaching, but it is not helping me to make much headway in the language I am learning.
I've reached out to many individuals who say the "want" to improve their English and ask for help, but then they do not follow through.
I'm in New York and I'm pretty much shocked that out of all the Japanese natives that I've reached out to that live here, only three have replied back to me and only one has actually offered to meet-up for lessons.
I am taking this seriously, but it's obvious no one else is.
I guess I will continue my search.
End Rant....
I'm almost depressed. I said almost! :D
