a little writing quandry
i'm stumped by the following quote opening:

¤Ø¤¨ | ¤Ã

I understand that "¤Ø¤¨" means "really!?" and that the verticle line is a thought break, as is the dash in English. However, the "¤Ã" in it's diminutive form is usually the consonant doubler for another syllable, and, in any case, "tsu" doesn't seem to mean anything on it's own. Anyone have a clue?

Language pair: Japanese; All
