Punjabi
I am a middle school teacher in the United States. A Punjabi speaking student transferred into my class this school year. Can anyone help me translate to her so she feels more comfortable and welcome?

Hello Mrs. Natale. I think i can help you as my mother tongue is Punjabi. I can help you interact with your student in Punjabi. Hope it helps you. you can find me on skype with the name "jasbeerjassi". SO first lesson to you is how to greet her in punjabi. Say her "Sat Sri Akal" pronounced "Shut Shree Akaal". I am sure your student will be surprised to hear that from you. Reply please if it does help you also even it it doesn't.
