Hi Do Huong, I would like to learn Vietnamese & Thai, knowing that you want to improve your English and Chinese because of JOB, hope that have chance to know you so can learn both languages with you & in return help you in practice your English & Chinese. Wow... Blonde jokes. Ah, I've heard too many of them.
Now...a language joke.
Boy: I speak English very good.
Girl: Well.
Boy: Well what?
Meaning of the joke: The correct phrase is "I speak English very well." But the boy didn't understand, and responded to "Well what?"
Well has a lot of meanings.
The girl meant well as in "good", but the boy thouoght of well as in "but". (Argh, the boy's use of the word "well" is hard to translate!!!)
