Re:Re:Translation?
If I type "The Boob" into babelfish's web
site I get "Das Boob" as you mentioned.
But, my German dictionary shows "Boob" as
"Schnitzer". So, would it be "Das
Schnitzer" instead?? I don't know...

Silly question, but was only wondering how
slang is handled in German...

Re:Re:Re:Translation?
I think babelfish didn't translate it, it just turned English noun to Deutsch noun, by adding article and capital starting letter. But, on the other hand, this may sound silly... We need a German person to solve this problem.

Re:Re:Translation?
Hi, "boob" has two meanings in English (actually 3, if you count the set phrase "boob-tube" meaning "television)

If you mean as in a woman's "boobs", then Möpse, Brüste, Titten, etc...

If you mean someone is a "boob", they are "blöd" or "doof"

Thanks!

I believe that "Blod" or "Blodmann" is the one that I was searching for. Thanks to everyone who responded!
