NEW PORTUGUESE MOVIES OUT?
Hi. Eu cai recemente no amor com um filme called Rio De Janeiro (City of God) and I've heard that there is another called City of Men (Cidade dos Homems). I wanted to know if anyone had a copy of the show that inspired Cidade dos Homems Por favor?
OH! Há algum filme português novo para fora? (this last line doesn't sound right to me... it's supposed to say are there any new portuguese movies out.)

Hi Johnna! Yes, there are some recent Brazilian movies that are very famous (have you ever heard about "Tropa de Elite"? It's a very violent movie but I thought it was cool. It has won a lot of prizes. I guess there aren't many Brazilian movies to see in other countries but every week there are new ones produced here. One movie I like is "Meu tio matou um cara". Try watching it if you haven't, it's really cool too.

Do you have any idea about love story movie?
I want to learn Brazil culture more.
My native language is Chinese(Mandarin),and I can speak Taiwanese also.
Not good as English,though.lol

I sooo don't like brazilian movies, but one I laughed a lot with was "O Cheiro do Ralo". :D
(Johanna, saying "Eu caí no amor" is sooo weird, nobody talks like that. Say "Eu me apaixonei", it sounds better ;)

NEW PORTUGUESE MOVIES OUT?
Hi, I'm learning portuguese now, and would really appreciate advices about what good portuguese or brazillian movies (not those "shoot ant run: please :)) I should see. Hopefully it would improve my language, cause now I only understand what is said to me, but I cannot form a sentence myself :(

Neringa: As I said before, I don't like brazilian movies a lot, but maybe you should watch "Central do Brasil". It's about a woman who helps illiterates writing letters for them at the train station in Rio and decides to help a boy to find his family in Pernambuco and Bahia after his mother dies. It was directed by Walter Salles, have you ever heard of him? It's a very sentimental movie, I think you're gonna like it ;)
