Hey! I can help you learn English, if I can get help with learning Amharic
I was born and raised in Ethiopia so I know the basics, but I would love to learn how to read and write in Amharic. I can help anyone learn English and a little bit of French.

HELP ME
I want to surprise my good friend who lives in Ethiopia. I can't find help anywhere else so I decided to search here - among the natives. How to say "Hi", "I miss you" and "I love you" in Amharic. How to say "How are you" and "sweet/sweetheart"?
I know my question may seem stupid BUT I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE the answer :)

Re:learning English Slangs & will teach you Amharic in return
"Don't count your chickens before they're hatched."

It means: don't depend on something that hasn't yet happened.

The saying originates from farmers. All chickens come from eggs, but not all eggs produce chickens. So just because you have a cause that SHOULD produce an effect, doesn't mean that the effect is guaranteed to happen.

Re:Re:Short phrases in Amharic
Hello. I have a friend from Addis-Ababa and I would like to better communicate with him. I was wondering if you could teach me a few things like greeting. Exampl how to say or ask things such as hello, goodbye, how are you, some replies to how are you. I am not a gold memeber so if you could just reply to this message with some of the answers than I would be very greatfyl.
