Yes, it is 'szeretlek' in Hungarian. And 'sz' is 's'; 'e' is short, like in 'bed'; 'r' is like in 'carrot'. You can say the other letters without special treatment, I think ;)

"Ezért én kérek elnézést" is: 'I am sorry for this' , though the emmphasis is on 'I' (én) and 'this' (ezért).
