Learning Danish, looking for a teacher.
Hi, I am relocating to Denmark next year and I really want to learn the language. I've been learning at one language site but I think it would help a lot if I can speak to someone who is fluent or a native speaker of the language.
Thanks.

"You look elegant with your hair up."
If a woman wears her hair up in a bun, how would you tell her she looks elegant with her hair up? Thanks.

Re:Why?
Hi Cyryn!

Learning the right pronunciation in English could be the difference between using offensive words or not.

For example:

Beach /bēCH/ Vs. Bitch /biCH/

"I like this beach" instead of "I like this bitch".

OR

Whole/Hole /hōl/ Vs. Whore /hôr/*

"I see a lot of holes in this shirt" instead of "I see a lot of whores in this shirt".

*The last example is more for those who are native to languages that have difficultly with letters that are similar in pronunciation like "L" and "R".

I hope this helps!! ;)

Re:Why?
Correct pronunciation is important in all languages as it ensures that people are able to understand each other and demonstrates a respect for the English culture

Re:Why?
For me, is to avoid trouble when talking to other people. For example is when the person you are talking to misheard that might cause misunderstanding and to prevent embarassment from others.
