i'm 21 and live in oklahoma (usa) i'm wanting to learn Japanese because i want to one day go and visit Japan. i find it to be a country with amazing history and culture. some of my friends take japanese at the local community collage so i'm also learning from them. but mostly i am learning on my own. i have a katakana chart for reference but still have trouble with pronouncing. also i can write in romaji using a translator site. i look forward to making lots of friends :)
