Re:ramadaan
I celebrate Ramadan every year with my husband, who is Palestinian. Is there something specific that you wanted to know?

Re:Re:Re:ramadaan
I'm Muslim so of course I fast in Ramadhan. We also have special prayers in the evening which we normally pray as a group rather than each person at home. Fasting is not a big trial, especially since it is only from dawn until dusk, although in some countries that can be a long time in the hot season. Alhamdulillah (Thank God) that we use the lunar calendar which means Ramadhan comes at different times of the year. It would not be fair if someone always had it in summer and someone always had it in winter, but it moves about 10 days each solar year. This year it will start in early June inshaAllah. The exact date is determined by seeing the new moon, not because we worship the moon but because it's an easy way to tell the date!
