Hi!I wonder key points to learn Scots!!

As a student of English Literature, I love English culture..I am interested in exploring a new language..Nowadays, I have a great passion for Scots.From the course of British Cultural Studies, Scottish culture and language impress me and calls me to discover!How I can learn it basically and improve Scots in a short time but effectively?
