Being a mother tongue speaker as well as participating in preparing some Swahili language teaching materials make my lessons unique. I use different techniques and skills to make my students understand, love and master the language. My lessons include among others grammar (writing, speaking and listening skills), daily activities like a normal/school /business etc. life in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and for that sake I create different short scenes in which my students participate. This mostly apply for the intermediate and advanced students. For beginners I prepare even more interesting lessons/progr ams which include songs and art or cultural activities. This help them learn and understand the language faster. |
