Teaching Approach

Being a mother tongue speaker as well as participating in preparing some Swahili language teaching materials make my lessons unique. I use different techniques and skills to make my students understand, love and master the language. My lessons include among others grammar (writing, speaking and listening skills), daily activities like a normal/school /business etc. life in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and for that sake I create different short scenes in which my students participate. This mostly apply for the intermediate and advanced students. For beginners I prepare even more interesting lessons/progr ams which include songs and art or cultural activities. This help them learn and understand the language faster.

Program Description

As a Swahili Teacher/ Tutor I have an experience in not only teaching but also preparing some teaching materials for a prominent Church Institute here in Germany.
Hav ing the above mentioned experience I am aware of my students needs as well as weaknesses in learning Swahili language and for that sake I remain creative especially in creating necessary required materials, programs or activities.
My lessons base on teaching people of different age groups. For that sake I prepare some programs or activities which are basically not only educative but also entertaining.

Teaching Experience

-I have provided some Swahili courses at a Church Institute for the Volunteers who work in one of an East African country.
-I offered a lesson about the Geography and politics of one East African country in one of the University here in Germany.
