Teaching Approach

I use the Internet technology particularly email and Skype to deliver my lessons online. I prepare lessons plans either in MS Word or PowerPoint. However, because Amharic fonts are not widely supported by the Internet, I save the documents as PDF file for ease of portability across different platforms.
I also leverage the video conferencing, talk and chat functionaliti es of Skype to give learners of Amharic as a second language a no less than face-to-face and better than class-room learning experience regardless of distance.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am most likely available on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I am not an evening person and I prefer morning sessions unless the only time you have available for Amharic lessons is in the afternoon.
I am flexible with my payment policy. Either you pay me at the end of each lesson or you purchase certain number of lessons like 4 lessons for $120 in advance.

I am a native speaker of Amharic and have 2 years experience tutoring Amharic as a second language. Besides, I am currently working on my certification as a Trainer/Teach er of Adults.
