Dear Sir or Madam.
I am looking for a Sindhi teacher who is able to instruct me from a beginners level to develop an advanced understanding of the language. I am a freelance journalist with a particular interest in South Asian issues, and feel that Sindhi has now become essential for my future career development. I have worked for 15 months in Sindh province and am already fluent in Urdu. The time I spent there instilled in me a real passion for Sindhi life and culture, and long term, I would like to live and work in this part of the world.
Ideal ly, I would prefer my lessons to be conducted in person, and would be willing to travel a reasonable distance. I have a mild visual impairment, and so may require lessons in audio formats or in Braille if possible. Reading and writing Sindhi are not particularly important as I am a Braille user, but a spoken fluency is essential. I am enthusiastic with real commitment and motivation to this area, and I am also a very quick learner. At this stage, I would be able to commit around 4 or 5 hours per week to studies, but this may change depending on future work commitments.
I am keen to commence study immediately, so I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
