Description	I am a beginner. I wish to learn Farsi because of my mother who is from Iran. I do not quite know how many hours a week I will be able to spend on the language lessons. I can imagine it will be around 2 hours a week.

Description	I estimate that I am advanced intermediate. I study cultural anthropology, with a focus on Afghanistan. I am also quite interested in Persain poetry. I have a large number of oral history interviews I have recently conducted in Afghanistan I need to learn Farsi/Dari well enough to translate my interviews. I would devote substancial time to my language study especially if I had a teacher I worked well with. I am especially interested in working on listening comprehesion and conversation. I can read and write reasonably well.
