I am a beginner. I am married ta a Filipina recently and would like to learn here native language to converse with her and her friends easier. She speaks English very well but I am in Kuwait working and she is in Philippines. I want to focus on conversation first and then move on to grammar and writing when I am fluent at speaking. I would like to dedicate 30 mins a day to one hour. I would like a teacher that makes it real life, I don't need things like'what color are your socks?' I want to learn things I can use everyday. I need a teacher that will push me a little and real life lessons. Teaches in a way with repetition and a unique way to remember words. I have a bad memory so just saying this is this will not work but things I can immediately use and teach me in a way that makes sense.

I am a beginner in Vietnamese. I have had a few college courses but they were sometime ago. I am interested in studying in person in HCMC and also over the internet. My long term goal is fluency in the language.
