I want to learn Danish as I am planning on moving there and want to be able to speak it. I have no experience in learning it so I am an absolute beginner. The main area I want to work on is conversation and understanding . I am able to dedicate quite a lot of time to learning this language as I am really passionate about learning it. I am married to a Dane for 5 years and we spend 4 months of every year in Denmark, the remaining months we live in Rotorua NZ. I have been learning Danish through books and CDs and although I can now read it quite well I still struggle with speaking it.

Hi,
I am a physiotherapi st and would like to learn the Danish language as my partner is from Denmark. I would like to be able to speak to both he and his family in Danish. I have trialed cassettes and CD's of 'Learn Danish in 1 month' without success. I feel I would learn the language more effectively by one on one tutoring in order to understand the grammar and hopefully be able to speak and write Danish fluently! I was thinking of starting with 2-3 lessons per week.
