I am looking for free help and friends in learning Cantonese, Manderin and Japanese. I have alot of free time as I work from home. I need help in learning to read and write pinyin and characters in all languages as well as speak. I know manderin pinyin and tone marks pretty good, some characters. I am focusing on learning complex characters along with the simple, as i find i need them. I badly need to learn grammar in all languages. I have an IME that lets me turn pinyin into both traditional and simplified characters. I am in need of a converter that changes characters into pinyin with tonal marks(this seems to be impossible)I have a cd that teaches stroke order, history and pronunciation of characters. It can be browsed by radical,# of strokes, pinyin and shows trad and simple characters at a click. It is written by a teacher at the Univercity of Calgary.(my home town) I learn best when shown, character, pinyin, then english.
I hope to find a teacher who is friendly and is interested in the same languages as me, i will help with english and french in needed. I am a happy sweet person who very much loves china.

my prificiency level is probably beginner but i understand alot of the language i just cant put it all togetehr such as writing and proper verbs and such. I need practice in everything reading writing and comprention. I am learning this language because I love Mexico and I want to live there for the rest of my life. I spent 9 months in Monterrey last year and Could not get enough of it all. I would like to dedicate as much time is as needed to become a great speaker. I am looking for a teacher that can modivate and encourage me I am a perfectionest and i can get down on my self when i dont do something well so I would like a teacher to inspire me because the spanish is such a part of them and culture.

I speak very little spanish but plan to travel to central and south america for 6 months to a year in the next year. I would like to be some what fluent by that time if possible. I am willing to dedicate as much time as is needed, but im not sure what that is.

I am interested in learning the Russian language as it may advance my career in the Seismic/Oil & Gas Industry. My proficiency level is beginner. I currently work full time & would appreciate any suggestions as to how much time I should be dedicating while learning a new language. I would like to say that I could spend 2 - 3 hours a week. Hello there i am very much a beginner i wish to learn the language as i plan to do a year long internship in Germany. I will be needing to start from scratch i can't speak any German, i would also like to take this very serious and few lessons a week if possible, i would say i learn better being thrown into things and not being able to be in my element and be forced to listen and learn.
