This type of exchange is suitable for langauge learners of all skill levels, even beginners. Because you have a common goal to help each other learn while discussing common interests, you are likely to make meaningful friendships.

Compared to live conversation, there is less pressure, because you can take your time to use a dictionary or refer to your lessons at a time of your convenience. It is also a great way to improve your writing, reading and grammar skills.

I enjoy acting, reading, singing, hanging out, going to movies, and just having fun! I plan to travel a lot when I'm older and love to study new cultures. I'd like to practice my french as much as possible, because I think I'm visiting France for 15 days this summer! This year I am hosting a foreign exchange student from Romania. I am 16 and have red hair and blue eyes. I also enjoy to play tennis and softball. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi, I'm Rob. I have too many interests to list, so if you can think of it, I probably like it or at least have an opinion of it. I'd like to learn many different languages because I just like to learn. Right now, I'd like to concentrate on Swedish because I like the sound of how it strings together in conversation and, for all I know, I have Swedish ancestors. I'd also love to make friends from across the globe and hopefully make a lot of them.
