I actually want to learn Spanish in order to connect better with the many people in my community for whom it is a first language. I am planning on traveling to Mexico in the next few years for a month or so in the summertime, and I would like so much to be able to converse comfortably with those who have lived there their entire lives. I feel that if I travel to THEIR country, it is only fair of me to know their language, that I may speak with them and make everyone fit in better.
