A language exchange with a pen pal from Alamo is an excellent way to make a friend from Alamo, learn about its culture and improve
your foreign language skills.
This type of exchange is suitable for langauge learners of all skill levels, even beginners.
Because you have a common goal to help each other learn while discussing common interests,
you are likely to make meaningful friendships.
Compared to live conversation, there is less pressure, because you can take your time to use a dictionary or refer to your lessons at a time of your convenience.
It is also a great way to improve your writing, reading and grammar skills.

~*~*Salut! My name is Sydney and I am 16 years old. I live in California and love the warm weather. I love to play volleyball and listen to music. One of my hobbies is traveling. My family and I travel to France every summer and many other places. I think French is a beautiful language, and when I am older I would love to move to France. I would enjoy emailing a French boy ages 16-18. Merci!*~*~

I am a single retired grandmother of three. I love Italy and would love to get proficient in the Italian language. I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, threater, and many other things. I would like to practice communicating in Italian (I know a little bit of the language). Goal would be to spend several months in an apartment and assimilate into the culture - not to be a tourist, but just an individual living in that lovely country and enjoying the culture.
