I am wanting to learn portuguese because i am traveling to Brizial to work and open a buisness making and selling clothing I am a horrible speller in english as you can tell so i will need help with grammer converation and all of the above. I know little portugese. I will be leaving for Braizal in the third week of Aug of next year. by that time i would like to know as much as possible. I do not make a ton of money so if I can get an affordable teacher then that would be great. I am a very hands on learner and learn best by physically doing something. I am not a great reader so that might need some attention. mostly conversation would be the best but i know you need to learn that as well to fully understand. I am a biginner and need to have things repeted.

I am sort of a beginner. I understand quite a bit of Vietnamese but do not know how to speak it. I have trouble with my pronouciation s. I want to learn conversation. My husband and his family are vietnamese and I want to be able to suprpise them and conversate in Vietnamese with them.I want to dedicate at least 2- 3 hours a week in lessons. It is very important that my teacher is very patient and I am looking for a teacher to teach me Southern Vietnamese dialect and not Northern. I just came back from Ho Chi Minh city and before going I learned vietnamese through Pimsleur language disc and it confused me as the pronounciatio n is northern and not southern. My husbands family speak southern vietnamese.
