I am a beginner with some knowledge of the language, i.e., numbers, simple sentence structures, some character recognition.
I have spent time in China and would like to be able to communicate with people in something other than sign language.
I am interested in learning all aspects of the language; speaking, reading, writing, listening.
I deally I would like two one-to-one lessons per week.
I will be living in Manila for the next six months. I would like lessons to begin in January, 2006.
I am looking for a teacher who has a professional approach to the subject.

i would like to learn Mandarin, French and Japanese to gain new skills and more importantly because i am planning to work and live abroad. i'm still trying to look for someone who would teach basic conversationa l Mandarin, French, and Japanese at the best price possible. Also I would like it to be done during weekends or maybe between 7-9pm on weekdays. Hopefully i would find a teacher who will make these 3 languages easier for me to learn, (of course i'll learn them one at a time)
