Hello,
I am interested in learning to speak bengali fluently. I understand the language completely but I have trouble in pronucation and sentance structure. I am interested in learning this language because I want to communicate with family members and I think it is important to learn my mother tongue. I need improvement in conservation and grammer structure when I speak. I can make small conservation but I find it difficult to do so. I would like to dedicate at least one hour to each lesson daily. The qualities that I am looking for in a teacher is someone who is fluent in both english and bengali. The problem is that I am in Winnipeg and don't know anyone who does teach bengali lessons. I want to be fluent so that I can have conservation with other family members!

I have been learning Chinese for the past four years, unfortunately though my conversation skills (and grammar for that matter) are very weak. I am currently taking a Chinese course at McGill University, although I feel the class does not provide me with enough time to respond and actually understand what is going on. In the future I would like to work in a Chinese company, or in a company that does business with China and I figure that knowing Chinese would be a necessity. I am looking for an understanding teacher with whom I would be able to take my time and actually have a conversation at my own pace. I am looking for about 2-3 day/week either private or semi-private classes.

I know almost no German and all I have learned has been from the begining part of a cd set I bought to help me learn. I have decided to learn german mostly for my own self-advancem ent, but also because I have considered becoming a diplomat and I am always willing to keep my options open for the future. I am willing to dedicate about 3 hours a week, maybe more once we are started. I have 3 days in a row off a week and could possibly travel accross the city once a week for a class. I am looking for mostly conversationa l purposes. I would like a teacher who teaches more than once student in thier class.
