I know some (very little) Dutch and Mandarin Chinese but would like to know more (especially as I have a Dutch passport). I took French in school, but would like to get it back up to a good level.

The reason why i want to learn cantonese and mandarin is simply because 1/6 of the population knows those languages instead of english. rather then to wait for a billion people to speak english, simply go on their side.
and of course for career advancement.
